About this deal

Still was the first perfume I ever bought. Three and a half years ago, I was a Law student running on a tight budget and indulging in fragrances was a major luxury. But on one particular February evening, I marched to the local beauty supplies store in the University area and requested the SA to show me some 'budget options'. Sunkissed Glow by JLo is the fourth flanker endorsed by Lopez. [23] It is inspired by a tropical scent of breeze and the steamy sun; it has notes of flowery and fruity orange blossom, water lilies and passion flowers. [23] It was created by Caroline Sabas. [29] Robin from Now Smell This said "Sunkissed Glow is nicely done and gets a plus in my book for not smelling like candy... despite the fact that I'm not usually a huge fan of coconut in perfume, I prefer the original Miami Glow. It was just more fun. I understand it can still be found at some of the discount chains, so you might want to try both scents before you make up your mind." [29] It is available in 30, 50, and 100ml Eau de Toilette. [29] The reformulation has not done it any favours, + the longevity has suffered. This is a copy of 'China Rain' - which is ofc, an oil - & the oil keeps the notes 'rounded' & quite beautiful - it's better quality & is a lovely, fresh, clean, kind-of soapy, but not laundry detergent - as you find in Glow; Glow is v detergent-y, in the opening, espc, now - you don't need me to describe the notes; so many ppl hv done so already, but, in it's fullest, Glow is now mainly, sweet grapefruit/a quite synthetic & rough orange blossom, with a more prominent rose - surprisingly powdery - gives me original Anais Anais vibes actually - & ofc, both J Lo & Jennifer Aniston were fans of that, too - when I was tiny, Anais Anais was popular, but later, I tried it & couldn't wear it - ditto this. Tbh - now - it's pretty awful, throughout, & even in the original early 2000's bottle - it was plastic-ky - but after the mess of the opening, it did used to settle down - & if it suited your chemistry it could be quite pleasant but.. it's not good now at all. I discovered Still by Jennifer Lopez through my favourite YouTuber, who talked about this as a gorgeous tea scent that made her feel very zen-like at the end of a tiring day. I was intrigued, even though my impression of JLo perfumes, based on her most famous “Glow”, wasn’t very favourable. The last tea perfume I had owned was Bvlgari Eau The Vert, a classic in its own right, but to my untrained nose, it simply smelled green. Nothing but cool crisp green. This, on the other hand, I found out, has Earl Grey in its top, along with rice. Rice? My curiosity was most certainly piqued. At this price point, I decided it was safe enough to blind buy. With everything going on, I could do with some zen in my life. This is one of my all time favorite fragrances. I wear it so much that I keep buying more so that I won't ever run out. I think of it as my "california casual" fragrance because it's light and I usually wear it with my beachy Cali girl look, especially when it starts to heat up here in Los Angeles, which is a dry desert heat. Infact, I've tried almost all of her "Glow" scents and love them all!

It’s very well blended and smooth. It’s an airy, soothing musky fragrance, with a little sour twist and lightness to it. Very nice. It's hard to describe it, but as Jennifer Lopez says, this is soapy and clean, and sexy. Sexy like a confident woman getting out of the shower, feeling sexy and confident in her own skin and body, no make up or frills, just a white cotton t-shirt and cheeky underwear, walking around her house, pouring herself a glass of water. This is a universal, appropriate for any occasion clean smell. It is a bit sharp and screechy, but it just makes it even better. It isn't medicinal or bug spray like Infusion D'Iris by Prada, it is soft, but noticeable, and just so fresh, clean, and perfect. One spray is already enough, but you can douse yourself in it.The longevity is great on me, the top notes stays consistently about 2 hours with a good sillage, after that it turns to a nice nice dry-down until I take a shower at night before bed. It somehow stays forever on my clothes, though.

Musk is definitely the dominant base note. The vanilla is mild - I wouldn't call this a particularly sweet scent, and the amber creates a warmth - or "glow". 😅Owned this one many years ago when it first launched and Still has always stood out to me amongst other celeb fragrances. This, to me, is very different from your usual super sweet and fruity celeb scents (at least during that time). This fragrance is way way underrated. It's well-blended, complex, and sophisticated. I would really like to apologize for how I felt before toward celebrity perfumes. This is a perfection. I have often heard this referred to as a clean, fresh and soapy fragrance. To me this smells like something rancid. There is an unpleasant scent of sour milk that turns my stomach. It smells like this on my skin, on paper and from the cap. Sandalwood might be the culprit for me, all the other notes are ones i generally like. Sandalwood can often be harsh, unpleasant and sour to my nose. I think the musk used here also gets a little skanky on my skin.
