About this deal

Care should be taken to maintain an acid pH of the urine especially when treating infections due to urea-splitting organisms such as Proteus spp. and strains of Pseudomonas spp. Methenamine in your skin (and body) reacts producing formaldehyde. Yes, formaldehyde, the carcinogen. Now this is probably why it works in the first place, given that formaldehyde also works as a potent antiperspirant (Rollinson JR, 1971, and my sister with hyperhidrosis working in her lab with formaldehyde one day spilling it on her hands) (also please don't use pure formaldehyde anywhere on your skin). Performance (4% Methenamine) – My favourite product, this squirt on cream activates overnight, smells incredible and leaves you with tough, sweat free skin the next day – regular application is recommended. Also in the first months of Antihydral use, my hands got quite itchy. For that, just moisturize and don't scratch it too hard. Laboratory Tests. In a few instances in one study, the serum transaminase levels showed a mild elevation during treatment which returned to normal while the patients were still receiving UREX (methenamine hippurate). Because of this one report, it is recommended that liver function studies be performed periodically on patients receiving the drug, especially those with liver dysfunction.

Skin file/sander – A sanding tool is essential to file down damaged skin or built up calloused skin to ensure an even climbing skin surface. We’d recommend Climbskin’s File.Methenamine was evaluated for mutagenicity in the Ames Salmonella/mammalian microsome test. Five strains of Salmonella typhimurium (TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA1537 and TA1538) and a strain of Escherichia coli (WP2uvrA) were used. At a dose of 10,000 ug/plate methenamine showed mutagenic activity in Salmonella typhimurium TA98 and TA100 by metabolic activation and also showed mutagenic activity in TA98 without microsomal activation. In one large study, no evidence of carcinogenicity was found following long-term oral administration of methenamine 1.25 g/kg/day to rats ( 104 weeks) and mice ( 60 weeks). The same investigators also reported no suggestion of carcinogenicity resulting from five subcutaneous injections of 5 g/kg (given on alternate days for a total dose of 25 g/kg). An earlier, much smaller study showed a 50% incidence of local sarcomas following subcutaneous injection of methenamine, totaling 25 g/kg, administered over periods of up to 15 months to rats concurrently receiving formic acid. Nursing Mothers. Methenamine is excreted in human milk. Because of the potential for serious adverse reactions in nursing infants, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother. That said, Antihydral/methenamine is *probably* safe. Because the concentrations of formaldehyde are very low and its use is only topical. In fact, there is no research linking methenamine use (oral or topical) to any kind of cancer or severe health conditions. BUT, there also is no research saying otherwise. As I said, research on methenamine, specially methenamine and hyperhidrosis is very very scarse. Remember, before starting any new medication, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional, and please follow the product's usage instructions carefully. Enjoy the confidence of a sweat-free life with Antihydral Cream from Vision Pharmacy.

Do not get Anhydrol Forte on your clothes, linen, fabric, jewellery, metal or polished surfaces as it may damage them. Your skin is going to get dry. I mean dry. Seriously, really dry. So much so that it can begin to get really flaky, and it can be rough as sand paper. Also some people's hands get yellowish but don't worry, that passes with a few months of treatment. Synthesized industrially by combining formaldehyde and ammonia, Hexamethylenetetramine has many industrial uses and applications. As the mandelic acid form, it is used for the prevention and control of recurring, chronic urinary tract infections. It decomposes at an acidic pH in the bladder to form formaldehyde and ammonia, and the formaldehyde is bactericidal; the mandelic acid adds to this effect. Urinary acidity is typically ensured by co-administering vitamin C. The antibiotic effect is only effective against bacterial infections in the urinary tract. It will not work for other types of bacterial infections or for viral infections. If you have trouble with sweaty tips , soft or weak skin , then this could be a game changer for you . Answer: Antihydral Cream is suitable for individuals experiencing hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, on areas such as the hands, feet, and armpits. It's a valuable solution for those looking to improve their quality of life and avoid the discomfort caused by constant perspiration.Anhydrol Forte should normally be used for two nights in succession, followed by a period of two nights with no application. There's not much you can do if your skin gets yellow. It probably will pass within a few months of treatment so don't give up. Now maybe you're thinking: "but won't my sweat wash the cream off anyway?" In short, yes. Specially on the first days when you're still sweating a lot, you will sweat, some cream will come off onto your bed sheets and whatnot (don't worry, they come off with water). This is not ideal so on the first days of my treatment I slept with a fan in front of my hands so I wouldn't sweat the cream off. As you stop sweating within a few days, this stops being a problem. So today I split a tip and while reading this article from Dave MacLeod regarding split tips I came across a reference to Antihydral. Dry (8% Methenamine) – A spray on solution that activates overnight, you’ll only need to use the Dry 2-3 times a week.

Tip Juice (12% Methenamine) – The strongest Rhino Skin product, Tip Juice is the closest and safest alternative to Antihydral. Applied to your fingertips with a brush, Tip Juice only requires weekly application for top results.

Do not shave the armpits or use a hair-removing preparation within 12 hours before or after using Anhydrol Forte. Anhydrol Forte should be applied at night, just before going to bed, and washed off thoroughly in the morning. So this is a little of what I've learned from 6 years controlling my HH with Antihydral. It's far from a perfect treatment, but it works. The question is: will the side effects be a bigger problem for you than hyperhidrosis? That's really personal. I for one, prefer having sandpaper hands than sweaty hands. Teratogenic effects. Pregnancy category C. Oral administration of methenamine to pregnant dogs, at doses equivalent to the human dose, has been reported to cause a slight increase in the stillborn rate and slight impairment of weight gain and survival of live-born offspring. A teratogenicity study, in which Urex (methenamine hippurate) was administered to pregnant rabbits at doses approximately 3 times the human dose, revealed no evidence of harm to the fetus. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. UREX (methenamine hippurate) should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. So, hello all, I'm 22 years old and I have severe palmoplantar hyperhidrosis. I've been using Antyhidral for my hands since I was 16 and it is the most effective treatment I've used so far, at least as far as "not sweating" goes. Since I don't hear much about it in this sub (weird considering the relative popularity of Antihydral here in Brazil), I decided to talk about this treatment option here.

Chalk: It might seem obvious but, avoid using chalk containing drying agents or any of the liquid stuff. We’d recommend the ultra-pure Friction Labs Gorilla Grip or Peak Chalk’s Chunky Chalk. Sometimes it will wrinkle so much it can begin to hurt a little. But to be honest, this side effect is so harmless to me at least, I don't even think about it. It just there, be advised. Carcinogenesis, Mutagenesis, and Impairment of Fertility. UREX (methenamine hippurate) has not been evaluated for carcinogenicity or mutagenicity.

Anhydrol Forte Roll-On

Labor and Delivery. UREX (methenamine hippurate) has no recognized use during labor and delivery, and its effects during these processes are unknown. You will have to moisturize. A lot. And trust me, normal hand moisturizers won't do. I use Cetaphil for very dry/sensitive skin. Now how did I come across this product? My stepmother's son has a skin condition that makes his skin very very dry (kinda like anti-hyperhidrosis). So I tried his moisturizer and it worked (at least better than the other ones). What I'm trying to say is: you'll need a very good moisturizer, so good that only people with rare skin conditions have to use them. And of course, they'll not be the cheapest ones to get. Here is what I could find from http://climber.co.nz/forum/buy-sell/antihydral-anti-sweating-cream-stump-cream: If you find yourself constantly needing to reapply chalk then this cream will make your climbing sessions much better and more productive . You should improve your grade too , imagine confidently reaching for that next hold with crisp dry skin instead of adding to the pump stopping for yet another chalk . Clippers/blade – A way of removing damaged or flaking skin is imperative to stop this developing into a split or flapper. Standard nail clippers should do the job.
