About this deal
This edited volume explores the idea of the café as a space which is distinct from its urban environment and has been the site of intellectual debate across Europe and throughout history. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. I realise that there are more than ten books here, but I included a couple in pairs as I couldn’t decide which to include and thought they were all important. To the contrary, there is excitement and tension aplenty, with all the right components to have me turning the pages as fast as I could.
ISABEL, a determined journalist with a secret that might keep her from the biggest story of her life. With its atmospheric setting and imagery, simple prose and elements of magical realism, Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi is an engaging and thought-provoking read.Although my overall verdict for this novel is positive, I couldn't help but feeling at certain points that I was reading a weakly scripted feminist soap opera.
Irresistible stories of love and fidelity, mystery and unexpected lives from some of the bestselling authors writing today, including Kate Mosse, Cathy Kelly and Ian Rankin. You know, some people might consider any of her crew to be assholes, just because of the nature of the business.
