Aged for longer than other reserve ports in seasoned oak vats to achieve the perfect balance between vibrant youthful fruit and the smooth silky finish which the ageing in wood provides. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Tawny Port Wines are young wines of several years, aged between two and three years in wood barrels, giving them aromas of nuts. The Cockburn's Vintage Port Wines are produced only with the best wines, of years considered exceptional and aged in wooden casks and bottled without any filtering or clarification.
